That's what I get for trying to run through the standard coding tutorials with my buddy's version of NCS Expert intended for his 2001 E39. After updating all daten file folders and EDIBAS files, I am now able to code successfully. I did much more reading and decided to go through every prerequisite to ensure that I had NCS Expert working. I do not have 'Revtors profile' in pull down menu. The two profiles i stick to are expertmode and revtors expert profile. It seems coding is ended, but actually nothing was changed. These profiles just change how ncs expert behaves when you read your car. is this a dealbreaker? (I think the stock one is in a box somewhere) Try to code E46 using NCS Expert to enable US marker in LSZ module. The only thing that I can think of that is causing this issue is:Ī) I'm using a buddy's laptop that has the software pre-installed (INPA worked perfectly, but I could not get DISv57, or NCS Experts to)ī) Aftermarket Eonon headunit. The error message that I get when going through the procedure.ĥ) Choose CHASSIS (dialogue box and select E89)ħ) > I get the error message - Following feature is invalid for FA: #0308 This is my first time trying to code features. I searched high and low for the symptoms that I'm getting while trying to initiate NCS Expert software, but got a dead end.
Stock 2008 BMW 328i E91 (touring) with exception of aftermarket Eonon 7165 Headunit 3) Save as a new profile (give it a name, like the godfather or something powerful-sounding ).
